“Ever expanding horizons”

Oshwal Education Trust, Jamnagar needs no introduction. The Trust is in the field of education for more than 3 and half decades. The Trustees are having a foresighted vision and always think of the future ahead of others. Before we dwell deep into the Trust’s newly Nature Cure and Yoga Research Project, let us have a glimpse of educational activities carried out by the Trust.

With an international reputation of being a knowledge-based economy, the Indian government is striving hard to meet the global expectation. But in pursuit of excellence, the dice of OET have moved across the city of Jamnagar to now bring it up on the map of the world that Jamnagar excels in Education too.

On 14th March 1986, a charitable Trust namely ‘The Oshwal Education Trust’ ventured into the field of Education to undertake the great task of setting up an All-English Medium Institutions to provide quality education to the students of Jamnagar.

Jamnagar, then, was a small progressive town and a business hub but did not have any proper educational Institutions to cater to the varied requirements of the natives. Shri Jaysukhlal Hathi voiced the feelings of many concerned parents of Jamnagar about the dearth of educational facilities and the urgent need of the people to bridge the demand and supply mismatch for an English Education Centre. Shri Lakhamshi Govindji Haria was quick to respond and declared a donation of Rs. Eleven Lakhs. This amount has today metamorphosed into a full-fledged Higher Secondary School catering to the needs of nearly 2700 students from L.K.G. to Higher Secondary.

The Mahant of Anandabava Ashram Shri Deviprasad Maharajji inaugurated the Kindergarten School on December, 4th, 1981. The plot was acquired and in June 1986 the construction of the school building started.

Looking to the scenario and craze for CBSE School, the dynamic Management of the Trust has set up CBSE School for the betterment of education.

In addition, spoken English classes, CS counseling center, Boys & Girls Hostel, etc., are managed by the Trust. The combined student’s strength of all the Trust managed schools and colleges approximately comes to 5000 as of now. The pioneers behind this development are Trust Chairman Shri Kantilal L. Haria and Shri Ramniklal K. Shah, managing Trustee who are continuously exploring the availability of maximum resources to give good education to the student’s fraternity.

Our Trust has always moved forward to keep itself abreast with the prevailing trends. Based on this concept the Oshwal Education Trust of Jamnagar has ventured into the time-tested field of alternative health care i.e. Naturopathy!

We have established the Leelavati Nature Cure & Yoga Research Center project having ultra-modern buildings, latest machinery having all facilities relating to Nature Cure to be managed by a team of professionals with 80 bed facility. It is 13 K.M. away from Jamnagar city and situated in Lakhabaval village having a natural and peaceful atmosphere suited to such centers.
