On 4th December 1981, “Oshwal Education Trust” established and initiated ‘Shri L.G. Haria School” aiming to cater Educational services with well equipped building located in the city of Jamnagar. The three storey building equipped with all the requirements of the modern world, caters education to almost 2000 students in the Heart of the City Jamnagar, Gujarat. At present the school provides Education from PG to Class 12 (Science & Commerce).

    Shri Lakhamshi Govindji Haria was the pioneer of the chain of schools and technical institutions located in different parts of Gujarat.

    For the upliftment of the people in Jamnagar the need for an educational institution was felt years ago. He felt Education can transform the lives of the people at the grass root level. Incidentally in the year 1982 Shri Jayshukhlal Hathis, the then Governor of Punjab, who visited Jamnagar and felt that there was an urgent need of English Medium School. Immediately extended his full co- operation for the said social cause and donated Rs. 11 Lakhs for the school building.

    This noble cause was in the danger of being still born as the land for the project was not available and more so nobody was coming forward for the same. In the initial stages of development, in the year 1983 the school was run in two garages in Bhavan's building. At that time Shri Kantibhai was one of the board of directors of GIDC and decided to put all his efforts to realize the dream of his illustrious father Shri L. G. Haria. As a member of GIDC Shri Kantibhai convinced the other members and the Chairman Corporation to donate 40,000 Sq. feet of prime land at then the market value of Rs. 40,00,000 lakhs was given free of cost. Besides, kantibhai also prevailed upon GIDC to make a contributions of Rs. 1.20 Lakhs for the social infrastructure and thus fulfilled Shri L.G. Haria's ambitious project.

We are delighted to announce that our Senior cricket team grabbed the champions trophy while Junior Cricket team grabbed the Runners up trophy in the Cricket Tournament organised by Shri G.H.Gosrani Commerce & D.D.Nagda B.B.A. college.

We are proud of all the Players for their wonderful performance and never ending Sporting spirit. All the players showcased their skills and we are proud to have such promising players who can give up anything for their teams to win. It is truly said that "Sportsman are not created, they are born sporty".

National Doctors Day

Shri L.G.Haria school, known as the school who always celebrates every event in a new and different ways, has celebrated Doctor's Day on 1 July by thanking all the designated and renowned Doctor's by personally visiting them and wishing them for the same. All the Doctor's were given a small token of gratitude and a letter of thanks for their service to the society.

All the Doctors shared their experience during their duty in this pandemic times and how different kind of people have approached them during this unfortunate times.

It was a great time for all the doctors as they received such an inspiration by a small token and they also shared their guidance to the public via a video message.
